Mark joined the Academy in June 2018 after serving for over 30 years in the Metropolitan Police service, primarily as a specialist crime prevention and designing out crime practitioner.

He holds an honours degree in Law from Liverpool University alongside qualifications in both training, workplace assessment and internal quality assurance.

Mark plays a key role in the production and delivery of accredited crime prevention, problem solving and designing out crime training, for a range of professional job roles, as well as assessing and also verifying assessment outcomes as one of the Academy’s Internal Quality Assurance Verifiers (IQAVs).
